Great read from my friend “Partnering With Eagles” End Times – The Depravity of man
In speaking truth to power, there are days when news items I find on the web are so egregious, that they defy any sense of normality.
We are to observe the signs of the times; that some couldn’t see the truth if it hit them in the face, (willfully deluded) is a significant part of this.
One of the signs are scoffers –
2 Peter 3:3-4 King James Version (KJV)
3 Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,
4 And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.
I have often referred to Matthew 24; as an outline of the end times. The most recent glaring examples? The abandonment of virtuous conduct; a state of immorality accompanied by widespread apostasy, has swept over a country whose liberties were founded upon, and recognized by the founding fathers, as coming from our Creator:

In the rush to appeal to this world’s thinking and vernacular, the Church has reduced the importance of the sacrifice of Christ and of Christ himself through how we speak of him. So in defense of all that is holy let me make this abundantly clear…
Jesus is not my “homeboy”. He’s not my “boo”. He’s not my “bro”, “bud”, or “pal” (though he is of course my friend). On the contrary Jesus is my Savior. We are in no way equals. We never will be. Jesus earned the right to my worship and complete humility before him with every piece of flesh torn from his body by the Roman cat of nine tails, by the nails driven through him, by every drop of blood given for me.
By all means lets personalize his great love for us. The intimacy between us and our Lord is, or should be, deeper than anything that can be experienced between a man and woman. Yet, when we define him in such casual terms we denude him of the glory he has earned, and he deserves so much better.
Talon’s Point of the Day is meant to be concise yet thought provoking. If you are impacted feel free to share the point with others, with or without citation.
In this age when famous people, including people who are simply famous for being famous, are given far too much important of opinion, its refreshing when someone reminds us of how little importance the opinions of the famously ignorant are.
Years ago I started reposting short statements from others I found on the internet dubbed “Wisdom from the Web” which I haven’t kept up on. Today I came across a good specimen though I won’t show it specifically because the person chose to use the phrase “libtard” in their comment which I found unnecessary, and well ironically unwise. However their point was truly wise and concise. It went something like this,
“If you’re enjoying the 4th of July today remember, it’s because past citizens made sure they were armed” – Unknown
Yes, when they first took up said arms they weren’t US citizens because of obvious reasons, but when they finally laid them down they were citizens of a new, and temporarily free people.
The remnant of liberty we still enjoy and acknowledge on this day is thanks to their willingness to “trust God and pass the ammunition.” If we fail to do either we will be the generation that observes the flame of liberty to die from lack of oxygen.
Breath freedom deeply my friend. Thank God every day for his mercy and be prepared, as every generation must be, to defend it with your life, fortune, and sacred honor
