Talon’s Point of the Day -Aug 28th, 2016 Scorched Earth

Just a reminder to all that think Jesus was all just about making sure you can have the warm fuzzies in life; the very Christ Jesus who willfully gave all of himself to set us free from sin and it’s eternal hellish consequence is the same Jesus who has a scorched earth policy.

The first angel sounded his trumpet, and there came hail and fire mixed with blood, and it was hurled down on the earth. A third of the earth was burned up, a third of the trees were burned up, and all the green grass was burned up.

Don’t get caught in the firestorm.

Back in the day, I was a budding writer. I was part of the inaugural group of the “Colorado Voices” in the Denver Post.

In August of 2001, on our anniversary as a matter of fact, my piece was published.

I’d meant it as a tribute to my husband, and it means even more to me today.

Talon’s Point of the Day -Aug 4th, 2016 Your Delilah

Everyone, male or female, rich or poor, young or old, of every color and creed faces a Delilah in their life. It’s often not a person, and if confronted and overcome, will be displaced by a new Delilah. In our youth it may well be a person. As we age it could be anything. For a period of time for me it was twitter and other social media. Anyone, or anything that draws us from our God ordained purpose has become our Delilah. Ask yourself, “Who, or what is my Delilah?” Better yet, ask God.
