Talon’s Point – Sept. 22nd, 2015 What’s Your Eternal Credit Score?

My eternal credit score is 316. It’s all I will ever need it to be.

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” – John 3:16, NIV

I love this version from the Aramaic Bible translated to English

“For God loved the world in this way: so much that he would give up his Son, The Only One, so that everyone who trusts in him shall not be lost, but he shall have eternal life.”

“…trusts in him…” This translation clarifies the proper meaning of “believe.” This is not a belief that Jesus existed, like believing in dinosaurs, but a trust in Jesus for my eternal salvation and to meet my every daily need.

Talon’s Point of the Day is meant to be concise yet thought provoking. If you are impacted feel free to share the point with others, with or without citation.

Toss in your "two cents" if you care to. Fair warning, you might get change ;-)
