More Run Ministries workers killed in Iraq

This is the second email I have received concerning Run Ministries workers killed trying to assist the Christians under attack in Iraq. I thought I would share it including the link to donate.

Dear (redacted),

I received devastating news this morning that we lost more workers in northern Iraq. Last night, three were killed and eight were injured in a terrorist attack.

Our teams were put on high alert several days ago after we learned that the jihadists were intent on continuing their terror in refugee camps, leaving no place safe for Christians and Yazidis. We increased our security in and around our network of safe homes in hopes that they would surely not harm people who were housing refugees.

But there seems to be no rule of law, no sense of dignity for human life among these jihadists. We have lost more of our team to their ruthless killings, but this has only strengthened our resolve to not let evil win!
Obviously, the security of our “Community of Hope” refugee camps is extremely vital right now. We are currently working on building camp #3, which will house 1,500 people. But with 7,350 Iraqi refugees now under our care — requiring food, water, shelter, medicine and protection — we need your help now more than ever before.

Your prayers and continued support ARE making a difference.

Thank you!

Eric

What happened, Eric? I no longer get emails from you keeping up on Iraq Christians that have escaped Is. It was always good to know how it was going. Be blessed Patt
