I could go into a diatribe of my view on liberty but I will save that for another day. Instead just a thought or two:

I haven’t been writing much here or elsewhere lately. Instead I have been engaged in debate on twitter for months on end. The liberty to express one’s view, including the challenge to defend those views can be invigorating, exhausting, and even educational. I have tirelessly battled the forces of social darkness and met, if you can call twitter “meeting,” lol, some wonderful people, including a few on the national conservative stage as well as others in the trenches, and a few who I think will be future conservative stars, especially in the new media, who have kept me encouraged to battle on. Which brings me to my thoughts…

I fully expect to battle the left on moral issues. I understand their animosity toward all things religious and moral. What challenges my patience are my fellow libertarians. It saddens me that so many do not recognize that liberty cannot exist without the restraint of God’s moral law. I specify “God’s” moral law even though ALL laws, as I often tell people, are the agreed to collective moral restraint of the people.

For one to think that we can disassociate from God’s law without suffering under the displacing weight of man’s law is fool hearty at best. The great John Adams said it so well when he penned these words,

“Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.”

Which leads me to this final thought that I wish to leave with you…

“The nation that will not long tolerate the light restraint of God’s law will long endure the heavy restraint of man’s”  – Yours Truly

May God’s grace lead you into all truth.

Be Better Not Bitter

19 I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live. Deuteronomy 30:19

Sorry devil there is no space (room) left for you and your evil thoughts. My mind is filled with pleasing things to present to the Lord! My heart is tangled with His. My body belongs to Him. My mouth is to worship and give thanks to Him and only Him. So you see I have no room for you.

I know the choice is mine, but I decided not to sit around and have a pity party. I decided to not think of my childhood pains. I decided not to think about the wrong that I done to others after being forgiven by my Heavenly Father. I decided not to…

6-Year-Old Gives 10 Reasons NOT to Vote for Obama!

Out of the mouths of babes. Maybe Liberals and so-called Independents can understand why voting for Barack Obama a second time is a bad idea if they hear it from a six-year-old. Liberals need to be treated like children. They speak in cliches. They repeat what others say. They can’t think for themselves. Adults need to be around to keep them on track so they won’t hurt themselves.

This six-year-old sounds more like an adult than most liberal adults. He’s articulate, gets to the point, and it’s hard to argue with his conclusions.

Liberals will scream “indoctrination.” Don’t make me laugh. Liberals run the government schools. The schools teach messianic government all day, every day. It’s the government that’s doing the indoctrinating. “The government will save you!” they cry.

Hey libs, there are six more like him at home. They are…

Status of Chinese People

Reporters Without Borders calls for an international reaction to the all-out censorship of information in China that includes website blocking, prior censorship of social networks and the dismissal of journalists who cover sensitive stories. The government is stepping up efforts to silence criticism and independent reporting, taking advantage of widespread indifference in the international community, especially UN bodies.

“It is clear from the latest events that the authorities are keeping their overall control of information with continuing consequences for those who try to use free speech to any degree,” Reporters Without Borders said. “Instead of relaxing controls, the government seems bent on reinforcing censorship of all kinds of media, including print, online, national and foreign. At the same time, the disturbing silence from the international community is not helping.
