War indeed.

BLOGGER’s NOTE: I know I don’t need to tell most of you what a travesty today’s ruling on Obamacare is to the future of our nation. My eyes spontaneously filled as the ruling was declared and the shock of the twisted interpretation (legislation) of a new definition for TAX was made clear. My eyes filled, and it became obvious that WAR had been declared. No, not WAR with guns and bullets (at least, not yet,) but with ideals, words, intellect, and … COURAGE! The enemies of FREEDOM have declared war on our remaining liberties and those of us who appreciate them. We must stand strong! We must be courageous! We cannot give up or wax doubtful. We cannot use the weapons our opponents use – the divisive & slanderous language that has brought us to the precipice of self-annihilation. This is the WAR: What America will we pass on…

Even though it’s important – particularly in a world with slippery politicians – to define words and terms accurately, I haven’t focused on this issue.

Indeed, a quick search through my archives shows that the only glossary I’ve ever published was this humorous list of financial terms.

And the only dictionary I’ve ever published was this clever example of Republican-to-English humor by a leftist.

Fortunately, Thomas Sowell is taking this issue seriously and he has two columns addressing how certain words are distorted to advance a statist agenda.

Here’s some of what he writes in Part I. He starts with the elastic definition of “racism.”

“Racism” is another term we can expect to hear a lot this election year, especially if the public opinion polls are going against President Barack Obama. Former big-time TV journalist Sam Donaldson and current fledgling CNN host Don Lemon have already proclaimed racism…

About The Project

The Abigail Adams Project (AAP) is a volunteer, non-partisan voter education project that will powerfully impact how candidates are elected. We provide voter guides across the United States of America that focus on the candidates’ views about the Constitutional responsibilities of elected officials in all levels of government. No party affiliations are listed on the voter guides. This way voters inform their choices based on the candidate’s positions rather than their party affiliation.

Obama vs. Obama: Obamacare

Mike Cornelison June 27, 2012

Obama vs. Obama: Obamacare

Today, the Supreme Court is expected to hand down its ruling on the constituionality of Obamacare, so in my second post in the Obama vs. Obama series, I will compare and contrast Obama the exaulted teleprompter reader with Obama the sociopathic sellout and demonstrate how the president’s split personalities have manifested themselves in his “signature achievement.”

From the moment Obama took office, while the economy grew worse and worse and the job picture for Americans bleaker by the day, instead of addressing the economy, his Democrat-controlled Congress was completely consumed with trying to invent Obamacare and then pass it. While Congress was stuck in the mire of the health care swamp, most Americans were angry, saying, “Forget all that and get this economy turned around!”

By the time the fourteen-month ordeal was finally over, any hopes supporters may have had for a national celebration over Obamacare’s passage were dashed. The widespread unpopularity of the bill was undeniable, as shown in this list of all the major polls from March 2010:

Polls on Obamacare when Passed

And over two years later, Obamacare is still unpopular by a wide margin to this very day: Read rest of article here

Is An American Terrorist At It Again

The Brett Kimberlin Saga:

By Aaron Walker
Follow this link to my BLOCKBUSTER STORY of how Brett Kimberlin, a convicted terrorist and perjurer, attempted to frame me for a crime. That sounds like an incredible claim, but I provide primary documents and video evidence proving that he did this. And if you are moved by this story to provide a little help to myself and other victims of Mr. Kimberlin’s intimidation, such as Robert Stacy McCain, you can donate here. And I thank everyone who has done so, and will do so.

An Important Victory For Freedom of Expression

First, dear readers, you should expect this post to change radically–or perhaps I will start a new post.  I just wanted to get this off my chest immediately.
I am free once again to do something very simple.  I am allowed to say the name Brett Kimberlin again.  The fact I was not allowed to do so, even in a post directed to the world at large and rather than any communication directed to Kimberlin himself, is a sign that things have gone horribly wrong in the Maryland legal system.  But more on that later.
Last Wednesday I sought an emergency stay of Judge Vaughey’s flagrantly unconstitutional prior restraint upon my speech.  And it was granted.  You can read it for yourself, here:
So it means I can talk to a general audience about Brett Kimberlin again, so long as I don’t threaten him or incite others to violence, threats or any other kind of lawlessness.

Which brings me to another point and this is important:

President Initiates Plan to Boost Status of Illegal Aliens

A year ago, President Barack Obama told his Hispanic supporters that he lacked the authority to grant amnesty to people in the country illegally. “There are laws on the books that prohibit me from unilaterally granting the right to reside in America, hold a job, and vote,” the President said in a March 2011 speech at a Univision town hall in Washington, D.C. On Friday, June 15, the President issued an Executive Order that would spare up to 800,000 illegal aliens from deportation.

When Republicans maintain a no-tax-hike position, good things happen. We saw this in 2010 when Senate GOPers held firm and Obama was forced to extend for two years all of the 2001 and 2003 tax cuts.

We’re having the same fight this year, and again Republicans (with some unfortunate exceptions) are standing strong against the President’s class-warfare tax proposals.

This approach is paying dividends, as you can see from these excerpts from a report by The Hill.

At least seven Democratic senators have declined to rule out supporting a temporary extension of the Bush-era income tax rates, breaking with party leaders who have called for letting the rates expire for people earning more than $1 million per year. That gives Senate Republicans a chance to push a temporary extension similar to the deal Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) struck with President Obama in December of 2010. …Extending all income tax…
