Wisdom From The Web – March 26th, 2012

This absolute gem comes from thomaspaine2nd from a discussion on the shooting of Traymon Martin currently being played up by the left to rally the troops.

The original blog can be found here: Who is Responsible for the Trayvon Martin Killing? and is worth the read.

The comment itself was in response to a comment trying to infer guilt on Zimmerman simply because he was the one possessing the firearm, rather than determining who was responsible for a confrontation becoming physical.

Paine’s response is as follows:

There’s something here vaguely analogous of the Zimmerman / Martin conflict but I can’t quite put my “finger” on it.

WFTW is a feature focused on wise or witty comments posted on blogs / videos rather than focusing on the source themselves. In most cases the source is also worthy of attention, as is the case here.

I have personally viewed Travon Martins Twitter posts, pics, subscriptions, friends comments (who we hang around with tells much of who we are.)

The experience was sad and very unflattering. I have not, and do not intend to post what I observed. His family is grieving and doesn’t need people appearing to “trash” him while they are going through this.

Sadly, it is now crystal clear to me that the race baiters of the left are using him as fodder. He was a troubled boy who needed guidance and was failed along the way by those around him. I strongly suspect those in the spotlight, race pimps such as Al Sharpton, know he has these skeletons and are daring those on the right to defend whites by dragging this boy through the mud by exposing who he really was (or who he wanted people to believe he was.) In so doing conservatives would be painted as heartless racists.

In the end the truth will come out, but sadly, by the time it does, the general public will have forgotten all but the media manufactured memory of a poor sweet kid, who was murdered by a trigger happy white supremacist.

Whether it ever becomes clear what happened between George Zimmerman and Trayvon Martin remains to be seen. One thing is clear, there will be two other victims no one will be talking about when all is forgotten, truth and decency. They were both murdered by the racist left in this case, and Al Sharpton in particular has the blood on his hands.

I’m not sure what you are a reverend of Mr. Sharpton. For of a surety there is no Christ about you.

UPDATE: Black friend of George Zimmerman just told Sean Hannity on TV interview that George and his wife tutored black kids for free. Oh the leftist hate narrative keeps dissolving.

    • synapticcohesion March 26, 2012 / 6:39 PM

Why didn’t we hear about this sooner??! Tutoring black children would OBVIOUSLY give him a FREE PASS to murder them!

No knucklehead it wouldn’t. You are welcome to be here and give dissenting views as long as they don’t insult intelligence. I don’t care about having a large readership. I’d rather have an intelligent one where disagreement is welcome but respectful. Remember or leave. Now to your point…

“Murder” is to be determined by investigation and if needed trial, not via the idiot mob.

I have not argued Zimmerman as innocent in any setting. I have argued that what is being fed to the pablum swilling masses is incomplete info for political purposes. As it stands right now there is potential evidence that Zimmerman obeyed the order to disengage following Martin and was then jumped by him on the way back to his vehicle. Time will tell. Until then I’m not going to publicly lynch him like you want to do. One thing is for sure, he didn’t simply walk up and shoot him. What happened from there is to be determined.

Just remember, the more misguided things you say, especially after being given the opportunity to think first, the more you will have them embedded on the internet for posterity and I’m here to help 😉

Just as an aside, the picture makes a very valid point and that point remains, however the recent picture of Trayvon Martin is being reported as a fake. I’d throw in a link but not sure if that would put my comment into spam. Fake or not, as stated, the point remains, and the pictures the media are running with are an attempt to steer people’s emotions.

    • Talon's Point March 26, 2012 / 5:23 PM

If the more recent pics turn out to be fake I will be the first to castigate myself (not to be confused with castrate.)

However, the pic being used apparently is about 5 years old and that alone is telling. Certainly a newer pic could be provided so there is something being massaged by someone in the use of this pic.

      • cowboypress March 26, 2012 / 6:36 PM

Agree! The pics being used in the media are both old, because it fits the story they are trying to put out. Also, the Jackson camp has stated that Trayvon Martin was shot in the back of the head, a statement that they are now backing away from. Clearly statements like that as well as pictures of a 12 year old kid are designed to enrage people rather than a true look at the facts.

  4. cowboypress March 26, 2012 / 3:08 PM

Bottom line is the facts were not presented, but skewed because they wanted to play on people’s emotions and prejudices to elicit a specific response. It is so obvious in this case as to be undeniable, and in fact that becomes a bigger story in itself, but one that few will touch. The concepts of free speech and critical thought are to be scorned and drowned out. Truth has been replaced by emotion. You see it here, you see it with Fluke, who initially was brought in to crash a congressional committee meeting to review first amendment rights. The defense of freedom of religion became a war against women, and a hispanic American defending himself became whites are out killing black children IN THE SOUTH! To point out these “inconvenient truths” is to be drowned out with noise, because reason is the first casualty in the left’s “Hope and Change”.

      Extremely well said.

The social psychosis playing itself out in modern liberalism has given us a person window into how dictators come into power. When I was young and studying the precursors to WWII I distinctly recall wondering how a nation of such intellectual people could spiral, and quickly so, into idol worship of a narcissist. Sadly, we are watching the same thing playing out.

Even in the days of Reagan when he has so many admirers, including some who no doubt placed him on too high of a pedestal, he was never shrouded in the clothes of such worship. Never do I recall seeing halos placed on his head. Certainly never using the Presidential Seal strategically placed to do so. Never were there songs being taught school children. The media wasn’t admitting orgasmic chills running up their legs or the open admission of being in the tank.

The love for a man that these people still know very little about, and their rabid defense of protecting the public from said records is a fact so stunning our founders would be holding new conventions were they still alive.

In every way possible this man is a Cult-Of-Personality and clearly loves it yet I will not be silent. I am on the record as a patriot who is going to warn people of this would-be tyrant, knowing like my forefathers, that if we do not prevail, I will likely be punished. So be it.

Oooh, so the media should have shown the current picture of the ectomorphic black teenager because he was SOOO SCARY and EVIL looking!!! Get a life.

    • Talon's Point March 26, 2012 / 12:00 PM

The “ectomorphic” black teenager posted these image on his FaceBoob page (intentional misspelling) so he clearly wanted them seen.

Using them would have been more accurate that a baby pic would it not? They chose the nice pic of Martin and the bad pic of Zimmerman exclusively to create a narrative but our modern internet media made up of every day citizens caught them. Deal with it.

Now, had they shown a range of pics of both that would have been reasonable. Or better yet, reported it without pics while the police had time to investigate free of the leftist racist media hyperbole.

Now, rather than try to inject racism where it isn’t necessary why don’t you consider the facts that are coming to light and ask yourself why you were told Zimmerman was a “white guy” (only half true) who murdered a sweet little black kid, before anyone knew anything, like the images of Zimmerman’s beaten face or the 6 witnesses who seem to back up Zimmerman’s story.

      • Stan March 26, 2012 / 1:20 PM

I was reading an update on Yahoo news and they are still using the same picture that makes Zimmerman look like a thug and makes Martin all innocent looking. But my point is the commenters are just like synapticcohesion. They don’t get it that the media is manipulating their perception of Zimmerman and Martin. I guess all we can do is continue to put the facts out there in hopes it wakes some of the people up.
        Thanks for he track back.
